I have had a problem with my hair thinning and growing weak enough that it would just snap off. I have tried many different shampoos and conditioners. I recently started making a home made scalp oil with only three ingredients that have changed my hair for the better. My hair has been stronger and healthier with both in looks and feel.
The three ingredients you will need are fresh rosemary, ginger oil, and coconut oil.
Rosemary promotes hair growth and straighten the roots. Not to mention it helps with dandruff control from it's ability to limit skin inflammation and irritation which helps reduce dandruff.
Ginger oil is an excellent way to promote hair growth. It is packed with vitamins, beneficial acids and minerals. Those vitamins helps to straighten your hair and helps with preventing hair loss. But that is not the only benefits. Ginger oil can help cure irritation. Help prevent premature greying and helps prevent dandruff.
Coconut oil has the must benefits out of all the ingredients. Coconut oil has a deep condition effect which moisturizes your scalp and helps prevent ichy scalp. If your hair is anything like mine the coconut oil will help control the frizz leaving your hair looking smooth and polished. coconut oil also has the benefits of helping control dandruff making it aan excellent replacement for dandruff shampoos that only seem to dry out your hair. The best part about coconut oil is that it is naturally antibacterial, antifungal and of course its moisturizing. There are about 25 more benefits for coconut oil, not only for your hair but skin aswell.
Step 1:
Take 4 cups of water and add three to four stems of the fresh rosemary and boil. If you have ginger oil add 6 to 10 drops. If you don't have ginger oil on hand take one ginger root, peel and chop into large chunks and boil with the rosemary. You want to boil it for about 5 to 10 minutes until the oils have fully seeped into the water. It willl be a dark brown color.
Step 2:
You will want to strain it into boil then pour back into the pot. Try to get all the larger chunks out but you can leave any small particulars. Once it's back in the pot put it on a low heat and add 4 to 6 tablespoons of coconut oil to the pot and stir until it is fully incorporated.
Step 3:
All that is left is to let it cool then store either in a jar or spray bottle. It really depends on your preference.

I prefer to store in 1 liter jar. It can be used any time of day. I would recommend adding it to your morning routine and let it sit in your hair throughout the day. You can either wash out at night or leave in, but I would wash out and reapply by the morning. If you are leaving it in over night, make note that it will make your pillow slightly oily.
This is probably the best home made hair treatment with 100% all natural ingredients.
