Slow cooker honey garlic meatballs

An easy and tasty meal for the whole family.

Cook Time: 4 hours Feeds 4 adults


Ingedients:

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 3 cloves galic, minced

  • 1 Ib ground beef

  • unsalted crackers

  • Half of a large white onoin

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 Tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 Tablespoon onion powder

  • tsp thyme

  • salt

  • pepper



Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl add the ground beef and egg. Mix together with your hands until the egg is fully incorporated. Take the crackers and add them to the ground beef. You want to add the crackers until the meat is no longer sticky but still not falling apart.

  2. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, tsp of salt and pepper and mix with your hands until the spices are incorporated and set aside

  3. In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

  4. Take the beef in small or medium chuncks and swirl them into balls. Place them in a pan and fry on high until all the edges are colored then place them in the slow cooker.

  5. Once all meatballs are in the slow cooker pour the sauce over top and carefully stir them until evey meatball is fully covered in the sauce.

  6. Cook on high for 4 hours. If you have larger meatballs cook for longer.
