Ways to help control facial acne

Ever since I became a teenager I have had issues with acne. Mostly on my forehead and sometimes on my chin. I have tried so many things and practically non of them worked. I had even tried the coconut oil treatment method but that only made it worse. It came to the point that I had to create a skin care routine for myself.
About once a week, sometimes twice a week I do this routine. My skin is not 100% clear but it definitely feels and looks a lot better. I haven't had any major acne or zits since I started.
I start with simply washing my face with a gentle foam face wash. I use a tea tree face wash but it really doesn't matter which facewash you use. It all depends on personal preference.
After washing my face I take a face cloth and damp it with warm to hot water. I like to just sit in peace with the cloth on my face for about 5 minutes. It feels amazing after a long day. It also opens your pores for the next step. After the five minutes are up I like to use a charcoal peel off face mask.
This is the mask that I use. It works but I do regret using it every time I put it on because it feels like I'm riping my skin off. Evertime it's time to peel it off, it hurts. But it works, it clears out every pore. It takes around 15 to 30 minutes for the mask to dry. I recommend doing a light layer, it drys faster and does the same job. After the mask my pores are still fairly large not hug or anything but large enough that dirt and sweat that it can cause more acne. So I use a clay mask to help shrink my pores.
These are clay masks that I use. They do burn a little after ripping open the pores but that usually goes away after 5 minutes. Not going to lie after washing off the clay mask I feel clean and refreshed. It took close to 10 years to find something that actually helped manage the acne.
I really hope this can help anyone who is also having issues with acne.
